Problems when filming

The main problem we have is that we need to find a house as Beth and I cannot use our own homes due to distance, the layout of the house and accessibility. It will be fine filming on the other locations as we do live quite near each other however we do live far away from the college so transporting equipment may be an issue. Also it is likely that the actors will live further away from us, making it difficult for them to travel down to Lyme Regis. We also have to make sure that the houses are access able because I am wheelchair bound the houses will have to be wheelchair access able and this will make finding a house to film in more difficult.


We have acknowledged some of these issues in the SWOT analysis we completed earlier.
So to overcome this we will have to see if one of our actor's houses are efficiant for us to to use. We can always film the shots that don't involve a house first so we can atleast start filming. So these will be taken place in Lyme Regis and we should be able to do this reasonably soon, all we need to do is sort out the actors and whether or not they will be free for the filming.

Location Ideas

These are the basic ideas for locations for each of the shots regarding to the storyboard.
For shots 2 - 7 we will need to use someones house for filming. A bedroom is needed for shots 2, 3 and 7 as Ella will be talking to her friend and shots 4, 5 and 6 we will need to film in a lounge for the 'flashback'

For shots 9 - 13 we will film in Langmoor Gardens in Lyme Regis as there is a good height to get good long shots for the scenes where the camera is pointing down to the three girls and the point of view shots (Ross)

For shots 14, 16, 12 - 28 (excluding 20) we will need to use a different house than before as it is meant to be Ella's home. We will be filming part of the outside but mostly the inside hall way and the lounge where the phone will be.

In shots 17 and 18 we will need a lounge and this has to be a different setting to the other houses. We can use a different house all together or just adapt a another room from one of the other houses we have used before. These scenes will be the house of Ella's friend.

Shot 20's location will be depend on the where 'Ella's house' will be. This shot is the one before Ella enters her own home so we will need to film by that house. It may be in Lyme Regis or Bridport and there are many places where we can film in both areas.

Storyboards and Script

Storyboard - Creating a is great for reference when we get to film our trailer. This will show what the type and size of the camera shots are and the sound going on during shots and to make sure when we start filming that the filmed content will look like the storyboard. We created this by improving on our draft storyboard.

Script - the script shows the dialogue of the character along side what is been shown visually. We have not included music to the script yet because we are unsure of what to use and where is can be placed into the trailer. So for now only the dialogue is shown.
